How it works
Our Work Experience Program will run from Monday, 29th June to Friday, 3rd July, 2025. During this week, all Year 10 students will have the opportunity to experience a real work environment, gaining valuable insights and transferable skills that are essential for future careers. Previous students have found the week invaluable in raising their aspirations and clarifying their career interests.
How do I apply?Students are encouraged to take the lead in organising their own placements, with support from parents or carers to discuss suitable options. When choosing a placement, find an employer that interests you, and make sure the location is convenient for travel, as transport costs will not be covered by the school. Once you have found a potential employer, contact them by phone or email to request a placement. After confirming your placement, you can log into your Unifrog account with your school email address (and reset your password if needed).

On the Unifrog Home Page, students should scroll to the bottom to find the "Placements" button under the "Exploring" section. By clicking on this button, they can add a new placement. After completing the required details, they must select "Form Finished" and then "Add Placement." This will automatically send the Employer Form to the contact person at the placement, so it’s important to ensure the email address is entered correctly.
Dates & Deadlines
6th January 2026 - Students secure a placement and complete the employer section on the Unifrog website.
21st April 2026 - Employers complete their section of the form on Unifrog.
21st June 2026 - Parents sign the parent section of the form on Unifrog.
