Adventurous Learning Week 2024
Welcome to Launceston College’s Adventurous Learning Week 2024
Adventurous Learning Week (ALW) 2024 runs from Monday 1st July - Friday 5th July 2024 and will involve all students in Years 7,8 and 9. It’s a fantastic opportunity for your child to engage in an activity they love or try something completely new. It’s also a great chance to meet new people.
Please read through the brochure with your child(ren) and choose three options that your child will enjoy and that are affordable for you. This year we have a wide range of activities with a wide range of budgets so there should be something for everyone.
There are limited numbers for each activity and although we will try our best to accommodate every student's first choice this may not always be possible, we will also not be able to guarantee that your child will get a place in the same activity as their friends. If an activity is undersubscribed it may have to be cancelled. All places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis so please complete the forms as quickly as possible. Please note that Year 9 will be given priority on Residential trips.

The form will open for completion on Thursday 23rd November at 6pm and close again on Sunday 26th November at Midnight. Please ensure you complete a separate form for each child. You can only complete the form once per child, any later submissions will be disregarded. If you wish to discuss changing options please contact kpenhale@launcestoncollege.uk
Shortly after the form closes we will start to allocate places and inform you of your child's activity. Deposits for the activities will be due by Tuesday 5th December so please bear this in mind when making your choices. All other payment due dates and amounts are below. All prices have been carefully calculated on the quotes given to us at this time, if our providers increase costs we may need to increase the cost of the activity.
